Gifted and Talented

The purpose of the Hidalgo ISD GT Program is to ensure that the State of Texas goal for GT students’ is implemented, monitored, and evaluated. Each Gifted & Talented student will receive services and demonstrate skills in self-directed learning, thinking, research, and communication. They will develop their skills while participating in the program through activities and/or courses aimed at developing their individuality and creativity and performing in high level mastery in all academic courses and local/state-mandated assessments.
