Hidalgo ISD is announcing the $25 million bond election designed to elevate student opportunities and build on our century of excellence! As we celebrate 100 years of HISD Pride, we're also preparing for the future of our schools, students, and community.
What’s on the Ballot?
Proposition A – $22.5 Million• New Career & Technology Education Building
• New Agricultural Barn with Arena
• Upgrades to ALL Elementary Schools including:
- Walking Trails
- Playground Upgrades
- New Furniture
- General Renovations
Proposition B – $2.5 Million• New Sports Center for:
- Girls Softball Team
- Boys & Girls Tennis Teams
- Locker Rooms, Showers, & Restrooms
Tax Impact: Only $0.005 for local taxpayers
