Mission Statement
 
     The mission of Hidalgo ISD is to be an exemplary educational community. Hidalgo ISD is dedicated to the highest standards of education. The district strives to prepare all students to become lifelong learners and productive citizens. To ensure this outcome, we commit to a comprehensive system of support for every student. The district is committed to implementing a rigorous curriculum and a culturally diverse learning environment that empowers our graduates to be college and workforce-ready.

     Theory of Action: If Hidalgo ISD provides students with engaging, on-grade level assignments and instruction, AND if teachers are provided the tools to implement high quality differentiation, and scaffolding to develop foundational skills, explore cross curricular complex texts, accelerate learning to close achievement gaps and build knowledge to support lifelong learning, then all students will meaningfully and successfully participate in a diverse global society by having access to exemplary educational experiences in order to be college, workforce, and life ready.
